WANDA DEGEN
Wanda is an award winning mountain dulcimer and autoharp player from East Lansing, Michigan. She teaches at numerous festivals throughout the Midwest. She has over 20 years experience performing including solo sets as well as with groups. Her latest CD focuses on Songs of the Great Lakes Region.
GLORIA HAYS
An award winning hammered dulcimer player from Soldiers Grove, WI. She plays music in traditional styles from around the world. She is a mountain dulcimer player and has over 150 folk instruments in her collection.
LINDA THOMAS and DAN DELANCEY
Teamed with guitarist Dan since 1990 the duo has recorded twelve albums and Linda has published several instructional books with arrangements for hammered dulcimer. Linda has been a finalists in several regional hammered dulcimer competitions. She is an elementary school music teacher and hammered dulcimer instructor from Kansas City, Missouri. DAN DELANCEY Dan has performed and recorded since 1990 with Linda. He has gained recognition as a seasoned flatpicker, known for his fluid style and original arrangements.
JOYCE HAKALA
Joyce is of Finnish ancestry and plays kanteles in three different traditional styles. She resides in the Twin Cities and is director of the kantele ensemble Koivun Kaiku echo of the birch founded in 1985.
